Greetings:

The next Association Merchant Meeting is Thursday, April 24th, 8:30am at MSU-B Downtown, Seminar Room, 214 North Broadway.  The Downtown Staff has so much to share regarding all of the activity and change that has been coming out of our office:  New directories, new website, updated kiosks...please attend so we can bring you and your staff up to speed on this wonderful, wild journey.

As you may be aware, the Membership of the Association is responsible for electing the Board of Directors of the organization at the Annual Membership Meeting which will be held May 28th, 2008 at 7:30am at MSU-B Downtown, Broadway III, 2804 3rd Avenue North.  At that time the Association Nominating Committee will introduce the slate of applicants, ballots will be passed out, and the membership will vote.  Votes will be tallied after adjournment and all applicants will be notified.  If you would like to submit an application for consideration, please use the attached application or click on the link below and submit your application online.  The deadline is May 1st, 2008.

I am going to be a selfish here and tell you that of the 16 Association Board Members and the 7 Improvement District Board Members that I serve, they have each in their own way guided the strategic direction of the Downtown Alliance in a way that has grown me professionally and benefitted our downtown tremendously.  Now the selfish part, I wish I could hold onto them all a little longer.
